Space Backup copies your important folders to every computer and drive in your office, keeps a dated history, checks every copy and repairs damage by itself. Your data never leaves your building, and there is no monthly storage bill.
Download See how it worksInstall the same small app on each PC. They find each other on your network, pair with one company key, and back each other up.
"Add to Space Backup" in File Explorer. A badge shows it is protected, animated while it backs up.
Any drive on any PC: all of them, the ones you choose, or "keep 3 copies" and let it spread them across different computers.
Backups spread across a night window, waking PCs as needed. Only changed files move; unchanged ones cost no space.
Every backup is plain files in a folder named by date. Open it, copy back, done. Or right-click "Restore from Space Backup".
The boring parts of backup, done properly.
Each day looks like a complete copy, but unchanged files are hard links, so ten days of history cost about one copy plus the changes.
Fingerprints on read, after write and end to end between PCs. It even catches faulty RAM, which ordinary copy tools silently pass on.
A weekly check re-reads your backups. If a drive starts rotting a file, it is repaired from a good copy on another drive or PC.
Power cut at 90% of a 6 GB file? It resumes from the last good block, in the same dated folder, as soon as the PC is back.
One transfer per PC, landing on its fastest drive first, then copied locally to the slower ones. Thousands of small files in parallel.
PCs pair with your company key and encrypt everything between them. No account, no vendor server holding your files.
Offices in different places? PCs connect directly where they can and through our relay where they can't. The relay passes encrypted bytes and stores nothing.
A tray app on Windows, a desktop app and service on Linux. They back each other up as equals.
Everything the app can do is also a command, with JSON output and a full transaction log. Your IT agent can set it up, watch it and explain any file's history.
Same commands on Windows (sbctl) and Linux (spacebackup).
# what happened last night? sbctl runs list --since yesterday --json # why wasn't this file copied? sbctl explain "D:\Projects\quote.xlsx" # watch every operation live sbctl tx --follow --json # keep 3 copies on different PCs sbctl folders add "D:\Projects" --dest auto:3
Compared with cloud backup, for a small company that already owns more disk space than it uses.

Simple: your own computers cost nothing. You only pay when our relay carries your traffic between sites.
Unlimited computers, drives, folders and history on your local network. Every feature included. No account, no subscription, no limits.
Offices in different places? When computers can't reach each other directly, Space Relay carries the encrypted traffic, and you pay only for the gigabytes it relays. Direct connections between sites stay free.
Do the first full backup on your local network, then only daily changes cross sites. Typical small offices relay a few GB a day.
Free on your own devices, for Windows and Linux. iOS and Android apps are coming later.
